BESIKTAS reach an agreement with Leicester for Super Eagles midfielder

Besiktas is looking to strengthen its center center after a disappointing start of the season.

The club suffered a strong 6-2 defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Europa League playoffs, with a lack of options in the center of the field as one of the key reasons for loss.

Previously in the transfer window, the club tried to sign Saúl Ñíguez, but the movement did not materialize.

With the approach of the playoffs of the League of the European Conference and the Turkish League about to begin, Besiktas has decided to explore other options in the center of the field.

This time, they have focused their attention on Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The club has presented an offer of € 9.5 million to Leicester City, which has already been accepted.

Now it is up to Ndidi to decide if you are ready to move to Türkiye and join your close friend and compatriot Victor Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray.

According to the sources, Besiktas’s chief coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, is a great admirer of Ndidi, after having observed it during his time driving in the Premier League with Manchester United.

The 28 -year -old midfielder is expected to play a crucial role in the Solskjær project.

The Norwegian coach favors a 4-2-3-1 training, a tactical configuration that would allow Ndidi to operate as a deep midfielder, his strongest position.
