Liverpool striker Mo Salah has criticized UEFA for not revealing how a soccer player known as a “Palestinian Pele” died because he paid his respect at a social media post.

The Palestinian Football Association said on Wednesday that Suleiman Al Obeid, 41, was killed by “Israeli air strike targeting civilians” while he was waiting for humanitarian assistance in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

In a short post on the X social media platform on Friday, UEFA mentioned the former member of the National Team “A talent who gave the counted children hope, even at the darkest”.
