Crystal Palace Stun Liverpool with a penalty to win the community shield

Crystal Palace has appeared as the winner of the Community Shield after defeating Liverpool 3-2 with a penalty on Sunday.

Community shield is usually a curtain driver for the English Premier League season, which starts this weekend.

The game ended 2-2 after 90 minutes because the winner of the FA Cup twice returned to the level of Liverpool’s topflight winner, forcing the tie to the shootout.
