Raveloson: We are not afraid of the Super Eagles

Madagascar midfielder Rayan Raveloson has said he and his teammates have no fear of the Nigerian Super Eagles.

The Super Eagles will host Madagascar in the first matchday of the 2027 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Uyo on Friday, September 25.

The Bareas will enter the contest as underdogs against the star-studded Super Eagles team who will parade with the likes of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Akor Adams, Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.

Although Madagascar will face one of the best teams in Africa, Raveloson said it is just a football match.

“It’s football, they are humans like us, so we are not afraid,” the Amedspor midfielder told reporters at Uyo airport after his team’s arrival.

Meanwhile, the number of Super Eagles players in camp is now 23, following the arrival of captain Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze and Stanley Nwabali.
