Police arrested motorcycle riders with 3 human skulls in Ogun

Police operations in Ogun have arrested a motorcycle rider, Kadir Owolabi, with three human skulls in the state.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Omolaola Odutola, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abeokuta.

He said the search for suspect’s luggage by cellular police officers caused a surprising discovery from three human skulls.

Odutola said: “Routine dismissal and search operations are carried out by operators from 71 PMFs, Awa Ijebu, at 14:00 on Monday, at Ijebu Ode -ibadan Expressway at Camp Runction Camp, Oru Ijebu.

“During training, officers intercepted Kadir Owolabi, who was riding a motorcycle. The search in the trunk caused a surprising discovery from three human skulls.

“The preliminary investigation then caused the arrest of another suspect, Jamiu Yisa, 53 years old, behind the Ijebu Regional Government Secretariat.”

“The Commissioner of the State Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to take over this case for a wise investigation.”
