Niger Tornadoes goalkeeper Alladoum Kolimba has challenged his teammates to fight for maximum points when they take on Kun Khalifat FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, on Sunday.
The Ikon Allah Boys are currently winless in their last five league matches and will look to end the barren run with a win in the crucial encounter.
Kolimba, who recently returned from international duty, urged his teammates to remain focused and determined as they prepare for the match.
“We will not take the match for granted. We must fight and work hard to get maximum points,” Kolimba told the Club’s media.

The Tornados drew against Kun Khalifat in their previous meeting last season. Abba Khalid put the hosts ahead before the visitors counterattacked to secure a share of the spoils.
Sunday’s match will be the third meeting between the two teams, with the Niger Tornadoes still seeking their first victory over Kun Khalifat. The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg last season.
The Minna club have also received a boost heading into the match with the return of Akabe Hannafi, who has recovered ahead of schedule after missing last week’s trip to Lafia.
The successful enrollment of Joseph Bulus and Daniel Hussaini has further strengthened the team, giving the technical team more options ahead of the crucial match.
