Tinubu appeals to the Nigerians in the diaspora so as not to abandon the house

President Bola Tinubu invited the Nigerians to live abroad to remain connected to their homeland.

He said that their experience, resources and networks were essential to build a stronger and more prosperous nation.

The president appealed on Thursday during an interactive session with the Nigerians in Japan at the Kahala Hotel, Yokohama, held on the sidelines of Ticad9.

The presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga said that the rally brought together professionals and entrepreneurs in different fields, offering Tinubu the opportunity to show the reforms of his administration and highlight the opportunities for national growth.

Giving himself to what he described as “a vibrant representation of the diversity of Nigeria”, he said that his government has committed himself to creating a society in which citizens can thrive and thrive.

He was reached by the Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Enoh and Khalil Halilu, executive vice -president of the National Agency for scientific and engineering infrastructures (Nasens), who outlined the ongoing reforms.

Even speaking, the CEO of Oando Plc Wale Tinubu, the President’s grandson, observed that political changes were improving the climate of Nigeria’s investments, attracting capital and expanding markets.

Declaring that “Nigeria has returned to increasing”, said that strategic thought and decisive action are guiding the reforms. He mentioned improvements in the elaboration of passports in the context of wider measures aimed at facilitating the lives of citizens at home and abroad.

Tinubu reiterated that the goal of his administration was to ensure that the Nigerians experience real benefits from the reforms. “I am happy to report that many of our people are returning home,” he said, urging others abroad to consider opportunities at home.

He stressed that development is a collective responsibility that requires citizens of the government and the diaspora to work together. He encouraged them to serve as ambassadors, promoting Nigeria positively in global commitments.

“If we do not unite our hands and work together, then we lost hope of being the leaders we should be,” he warned.

The president added that true citizenship means commitment and integrity, not only in possession of a passport and warned that the negative portraits of Nigeria have damaged the efforts to attract investments and partnerships.

He ensured the diaspora that the country’s economic fundamentals stabilized, with reforms designed to stimulate growth, create jobs and expand access to health care. He said that the new health infrastructure would help to reverse medical tourism by providing quality services at home.

The members of the Nigerian community in Japan expressed support for the vision of his administration. Ebogota Ebogota, president of the Nigerian Union in Japan, thanked Tinubu for directly involving the diaspora and promised the support of the group in repositioning Nigeria globally.

Participants behaved included John Ologbatsre, a Japanese prize for electrotechnical standardization, the entrepreneur Kingsley Kabuyashi, as well as students, doctors and corporate leaders.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, the accusation of affaires Florence Adeseke, the minister of solid minerals dele Alake, the Minister of the Budget Atiku Bagudu, the state finance minister Doris Uzoka-Aniite, the general manager of the Nia Amb. Mohammed Mohammed and other high government officials and stakeholders in the private sector.
