The Israeli military attacked the Houthi regime in Yemen after ‘recurring attacks’ | World News

Israel said he had carried out an attack on Houthis’s military target in the capital of Yemen Sanaa.

The attack occurred after Iran’s supported guerrillas said they fired ballistic missiles towards Israel on Friday.

That Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that on Sunday his party struck the “military infrastructure” of the regime, including a site “where the presidential palace was located, the Asar and Hizaz power plant, and a site for storing fuel”.

IDF also said that the attack was carried out in response to Houthi “repeated attacks” on Israel, such as “launch of surface-to-surface missiles and UAVs (unmanned air vehicles) to Israel’s territory in the last few days”.

The Presidential Palace is on a military site where Houthi The regime operates, and power plants are used as “significant electricity supply facilities for military activities”, IDF added.

The Ministry of Health managed by Houthi said that at least two people were killed and 35 others were injured.

Referring to the missile fired on Israel on Friday, an Israeli Air Force official said the weapon was most likely carrying several sub-munition “which was intended to be detonated on the impact”.

“This is the first time this kind of missile has been launched from Yemen,” said the official.

Israeli strikes are the first to be devastated Yemen Since a week ago, when Israel said it was targeting the energy infrastructure that was believed to be used by the rebels.

On Sunday, residents of Sanaa said they heard a loud explosion near a closed military academy and the President’s Palace.

They said they saw lumps of smoke near Sabeen Square, a central meeting place in the capital.

“The sound of the explosion is very strong,” said Hussein Mohamed, a resident of Yemen, who lives close to the President’s Palace.

Another resident, Ahmed Al Meklafy, also said he felt the power of the attack. “The house was shaken, and the window was destroyed,” he said.

Nasruddin Amer, Deputy Head of the Houthi Media Office, claimed that the Israeli attack would not prevent the rebels, and vowed to continue their attack on Israel.
