The negligence is responsible for the extension of the Abuja -Kaduna train, said Shehu Sani

The former Kaduna central senator, Shehu Sani, has associated the drainage of the new Abuja -Kaduna passenger train with official negligence, warning that the authorities failed to act even though the alarm repeatedly was appointed by the passengers.

In a post in his X -ranking, Sani stressed that passengers consistently expressed concern about the safety and condition of the track, but their worries were removed.

“The Abuja-Saduna train that slipped today (yesterday) is a direct result of negligence by the authorities concerned. For months, passengers have repeatedly complained about their experience on the track, but ignored,” he wrote.

The former member of the parliament also raised security issues, noting that the route remained a high -risk zone.

“The broad bush between Kaduna and Abuja is not a place to be treated lightly,” Sani added.

The Abuja Railway Corridor -Kaduna is one of the busiest in Nigeria, serving hundreds of daily passengers. However, it has faced a lot of setbacks, including terrorist attacks in March 2022 that killed several passengers and many others were kidnapped.
