The general manager of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, extended the deadline for the start of the electronic presentation of requests and documents to the Bureau to Monday 8 September 2025.

The extension was a sequel to the BPP/DG/2025/250 circular of 4 August, August 4, 2025 of 4 August, in the passage to the electronic presentation procedures at the Bureau.

Dr. Adedokun said that “in view of the ongoing migration to e-government platforms, the deadline for the exclusive electronic presentation of all requests and documents to the BPP is extended to Monday 8 September 2025.”

The circular states: “In consideration of the above, the Bureau wishes to notify all the Government Ministries, the Departments and the Agencies (MDA), the companies owned by the Government (GOC), the private companies/FIRs and non -governmental organizations (NGO)? Civil society organizations (CSO) of the following:

“With effect from Tuesday 9 September 2025, the Bureau will not accept or process any request/presentation Hardcopy. MDAS, GOCS, Company/private companies and NGO/CSO will continue to present all documents relating to contracts via electronically [email protected] (all communications of routine contracts) and receive BPP correspondences through [email protected];

“All communications and requests not related to attempt must be submitted via the official e-mail of the Bureau: [email protected];

“The failure to join the new deadline and the communication channels translates into an maximum denial of the service by the Bureau, including non -acceptance and non -processing of requests/communications until the MDA or organization concerned fully comply with electronic sending procedures;

“MDA or organizations that have not already done it are two (2) addresses and -email and two (2) telephone numbers active by officials designated for formal communication purposes and authentication.

“All MDA, GOC, private companies /companies and NGOs /CSO are established to ensure immediate alignment of their internal processes to avoid interruptions or delays in submissions and reviews of contracts.”
