The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declared a member of the State Council of the Assembly of the Assembly, Hon. There is Aliyu, wanting a alleged contract ₦ 73.6 million tertiary educational trustees (tetfund).
Aliyu, who is a member representing the constituent states of JOS’s state in the assembly, was declared sought on Friday by Judge Emeka Nwite who issued orders after the application by the Independent Corruption Practice and other related Violation Commissions (ICPC).
According to Court Documents, A Businessman, Mohammed Jidda, Had Petitioned the ICPC Alleging that Alyu Had promised to help Him secure an ₦ 850 million tetfund contract at the University of Jos, with a signed memorandum of Understanding (Mou) ₦ 73.6 million upfront, including ₦ 52 million meant for Imanal Concept Ltd, Owned by One Saad Abubakar who facilitated the fake contract.
Further court documents reveal Hon. Aliyu was accused of giving a fake contract award letter for ₦ 500 million in indoor sports room projects and directed it to deposit initial funds to his personal GTBank account and the Zenith Bank account concept.
ICPC in its investigation said the number of ₦ 47.8 million was paid to Aliyu’s account, with ₦ 22.4 million the others were paid to the Imanal Concept account, and ₦ ₦ 3.2 million others were paid directly to Aliyu.
In his submission to the court, ICPC said that during the investigation, Jos University denied issuing a contract and then confirmed in writing to the ICPC that the award letter was falsified.

ICPC also told the court that despite repeating calls, Hon. Aliyu ignored and failed to honor his invitation to explain his role in a cheating contract award, although he had a recognizing receipt of messages through the highlands of the highlands and in WhatsApp.
The anti-corruption agency also told the court that they had credible intelligence that the parliament members allegedly concluded plans to escape the country and urged the court to declare he was desired.
When delivering a decision on this issue, Judge Nwite gave an ICPC request to declare Aliyu Wanted, ratified the commission to publish his name in the national newspaper and on social media.
The desired order also empowering security agents and citizens to arrest parliamentary members and submit it to the commission to face the cost of 32-calculations bordering fraud, falsification, and transfer of funds.
However, Hon. Aliyu has denied involvement in contract fraud. When contacted, he denied the accusation, insisted that he had never cheated Jidda.
He claimed to have returned 45 million from his account to Jidda’s Mohiba Investment Ltd., and argued that the problem was a civilian dispute about consultation services rather than criminal cases.
He also denied falsifying the contract award letter, saying his role was limited to the delivery of documents obtained by Abubakar, said that his lawyer had written to ICPC, claiming that the problem was already before the Civil Court.
