Tinubu committed to transforming the automotive sector of Nigeria – Pcngi Chair

The executive president of the presidential initiative for compressed natural gas (Pcngi), Mr. Ismael Ahmed, he assured that President Bola Tinubu has committed himself to transforming the Nigerian automotive sector.

As part of the efforts to guide the mission to promote the clean energy of the nation, the president of Pcngi has also hinted that he has expanded free training for members of the association of Nigerian craftsmen and technicians in the automotive sector.

Ahmed declared him to Abuja on Thursday at the exhibitions and at the Fair of the Nigerian craftsmen and technicians of 2025.

The event brought together craftsmen and technicians throughout the country, who used the opportunity, provided them with showing their products and eliminated their contributions to the economy of the nation.

While emphasizing the contribution of artisans and technicians in the construction of any economy, the head of Pcngi, who was represented by the coordinator of the development and strategy of the business (Pcngi), the Mrs. Omolara Obileye, underlined the importance of collaboration in the socio-economic development of any nation.

He also reiterated the president’s commitment to transform the automotive sector of Nigeria.

Speaking also at the fair, the general manager of the industrial training fund, dr. AFIZ Oluwatoyin, underlined the need to improve the skills of Nigerian craftsmen and technicians to satisfy international standards.

Oluwatoyin stressed that President Tinubu president put initiatives to face their challenges.

In its observations, the National Coordinator of Association of Nigerian artisans and technicians (Asnat), the companion CongaShina Akinyemi, invited the interventions of the government and other parties interested for the members, stating that their contribution to the national economy cannot be underestimated.

Other stakeholders who spoke to the event, also issuing contributions invited the members of the association to guide the next generation in order to improve continuity and sustainability.
