The former teammates gather in Norway when Seun Akanji meets Mukhtar Adamu in the Obos-Ligaen clash

It was a moving meeting in Norway when the star of the youth team of Lagos Sporting Lagos Seun Akanji was linked to its former teammate Mukhtar Adamu during an entertaining 2–2 draw against Stabæk in the Norway Obos-Ill.

After the final whistle, the match became emotional when Adamu, who currently plays for Stabæk, gave his game shirt to Akanji, an elegant gesture that highlighted the link between the two young Nigerian talents.

Akanji, who has continued to attract attention for his impressive development in Europe, will officially join Lilstrøm SK on June 28, 2026, once he turns 18, becoming part of the Kanarifuglene family 🟡🐤.
