FG invites the Council of State, police board for the security meeting …

The Federal Government invited the Council of State and the Police Council to a “strategic” security meeting scheduled for Thursday 9 October 2025.

The director of information at the Office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), Segun Imohiosen, made this known in a statement on Monday.

Imohiosen said the meeting will be held in the board of the board of the presidential villa in Abuja

Imohiosen cited the permanent secretary, the cabinet business office, dr. Emanso Umobong, saying that the meeting aims to discuss issues of national importance and key issues concerning security and national police.

He said that the meeting with the Council of State will be held at 13:00, while that of the police board is scheduled for 14:00 on Thursday.

He added that the high -level meeting underlined the commitment of President Bola Tinubu to face urgent national issues and guarantee citizens’ security and safety.
