New reported deadly attacks in the Middle East overnight and Thursday rocked energy markets and pushed crude oil prices as high as $107 in early trading. Hopes of a quick end to the conflict diminished as President Trump spoke of attacks coming for another “two to three weeks,” in addition to “ongoing” discussions with Tehran. Civilians across the region continue to suffer hardship and displacement.
