New reported deadly attacks in the Middle East overnight and Thursday rocked energy markets and pushed crude oil prices as high as $107 in early trading. Hopes of a quick end to the conflict diminished as President Trump spoke of attacks coming for another “two to three weeks,” in addition to “ongoing” discussions with Tehran.
