Osimhen returns to training as Galatasaray Eye Boost ahead of crucial matches

Victor Osimhen has returned to training with Galatasaray for the first time since undergoing surgery to repair a fracture in his right forearm.

Galatasaray confirmed that Osimhen trained with the squad on April 11 before continuing with an individual recovery program alongside physiotherapists.

Personalized sessions are part of a structured rehabilitation plan aimed at ensuring a safe return to full physical fitness.

Galatasaray have struggled in his absence, losing valuable points in domestic and European competitions.

The team has dropped 16 points in 11 games this season without the Nigerian striker.

According to prominent Turkish sports journalist Nevzat Dindar, Osimhen is expected to travel with the team to Ankara for the next match against Gençlerbirliği on April 18.

He is likely to start on the bench, with a possible return to action depending on the course of the match.

There are also indications that he could participate in the Fenerbahce derby that will take place on April 26.

“Osimhen has started training. He will be in the team over the weekend. Nothing has changed in my opinion. We lost points, we lost a lead, but we never lost confidence in ourselves. I trust in myself, in my players and in our fans. We will celebrate the championship together.”

Osimhen has been in excellent form this season, scoring 19 goals and providing seven assists in 29 appearances.
