JAMB releases UTME results for April 17 18 candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who took the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2026 on Friday 17 April and Saturday 18 April.

In a statement released on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the council said that 1,264,940 results from the two days are now available to candidates.

JAMB further noted that it had previously released 632,752 results of candidates who took the exam on Thursday, April 16. This brings the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.

Candidates are advised to check their results through official SMS channels by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same telephone number used during registration.

According to the council, the results published so far cover the first three days of the nationwide examination exercise, with further expectations as the process continues.
