The Senate confirmed Darma as minister

The Senate has confirmed Muttaqha Rabe Darma for appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His confirmation on Thursday came after a screening session, with a Q&A.

President Bola Tinubu has on Wednesday written to the Senate, requesting the screening and subsequent confirmation of Muttaqha Rabe Darma as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Akpabio, who read the communication from President Tinubu, then referred it to the Committee of the Whole for further legislative action, with a direction to report back as soon as possible.
