EFCC hunts Lagos woman Halimat Tejuosho for alleged fraud…

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has placed 41-year-old Halimat Adenike Tejuosho on its wanted list for allegedly obtaining money under false pretenses, urging Nigerians to report her.

In a notice signed by EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale on Monday, the anti-corruption agency published Tejuosho’s photo and described her as an indigene of Lagos whose last known address is House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.

“The public is hereby informed that Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretenses,” the EFCC said.

The Commission asks anyone with tips on his whereabouts to contact its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja. The public can also get in touch through official EFCC channels or report to the nearest police station and other security agencies.

No details were released about the amount involved or the victims in the case. For now, Tejuosho’s face is on the EFCC board and the hunt is on.
