Iheanacho eyes Scottish Premiership title at Hearts Clash

Kelechi Iheanacho will aim to clinch the Scottish Premiership title when Celtic take on Hearts in a winner-takes-all title showdown on Saturday (today), reports completesports.com.

Celtic are one point behind leaders Hearts in the league standings and must overcome the visitors to clinch the title.

Hearts, meanwhile, are eager to end their 66-year wait for a league title.

Iheanacho has played a pivotal role in Celtic’s exciting final run, coming off the bench with vital goals at crucial moments.

The Nigeria international scored a late penalty in Wednesday’s win over Motherwell to keep Celtic firmly in the running for a successful title defence.

The 29-year-old has scored eight goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for Martin O’Neill’s side this season.

Iheanacho has single-handedly secured eight points for the club with match-winning goals, making decisive impacts against Kilmarnock on his debut, as well as clashes with Dundee Hibernian and Motherwell.
