Governor Buni leads several APC members to re-elect Tinubu as presidential candidate

The Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, together with members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party, turned out en masse on Saturday to elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the ongoing presidential primaries.

Party members who rallied behind Governor Buni, chanted “Tinubu our president, Tinubu for a second term”.

Reacting to this development, Governor Buni expressed satisfaction with the process saying “it is free, fair and credible.

“The large turnout of party members is quite encouraging, it reflects the confidence of the members in President Tinubu for a second term.”

The Governor urged APC members to promote unity and generate more support for all APC candidates and President Tinubu for a second term.

In a statement issued by the Governor’s Director-General for Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, said reports reaching the Governor’s office indicate a peaceful and massive turnout of party members participating in the elections across Yobe State.
