BUA has denied reports that it plans to acquire shares in Kano Pillars

BUA Group has denied reports that the company and its chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu are in talks to acquire the state’s 70% in Kano Pillars Football club.

The company in its press release on Monday noted that it has not taken any action or communication with anyone in this regard.

The statement read in part, “Our attention has been drawn to an online publication indicating that BUA Group and its Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, have submitted an offer to acquire a 70% stake in Kano Pillars Football Club.

“We would like to clarify that this report is not accurate and does not reflect any position, actions or communications of BUA Group or Abdul Samad Rabiu. No offer has been made, and there has been no engagement with any party regarding this matter.

“We respectfully request that these reports be disregarded, and we encourage the public and members of the press to rely solely on official statements issued through BUA Group’s verified channels for accurate information regarding our activities.”
