Where and when to watch the Super Eagles’ star players when the Premier League returns

Taiwo Awoniyi will hope to get more starts next season with Oliver Glasner now in charge, while Ola Aina looks set for a starting role when the new season begins.

Newly promoted Hull City could also call on a couple of Nigerians. David Akintola, who will also play on Saturday, could play on the right wing in the match at Old Trafford, while Semi Ajayi will likely start.

Frank Onyeka, also newly promoted, will play in Coventry’s midfield on day one. After facing a real test of fire to start the season, Coventry City will face Arsenal at the Emirates on Friday 21 August.

If we add the promising stars of Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion and Sunderland, there will be many top-level Nigerian talents fighting from the first whistle of this new Premier League season.
