Golf enthusiasts in the Eastern Zone are in for an exciting four-day competition as the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) 7th Eastern Zone Championship 2026 will be held from September 2 to 5, 2026, at the Arsenal Golf and Country Club, Owerri, Imo State.

The championship, organized by LGAN Eastern Zone, is expected to attract golfers from across the region as they compete for success in what promises to be a hotly contested tournament.

The event will be held under the theme “One Zone! One Spirit! United Swing!”, highlighting the organizers’ commitment to promoting unity, friendship and healthy competition among Eastern Zone golfers.

The four-day championship will also have significance for amateur golfers, with the event associated with the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
Participants are expected to pay an entry fee of ₦25,000, while registration and payment methods have been made available by the organizers.

The choice of Arsenal Golf and Country Club, Owerri, as the host venue is expected to provide a challenging and exciting environment for participating golfers.

As the championship approaches, anticipation grows among members of the golf community as golfers prepare to converge on Owerri for four days of competitive action and camaraderie.

Organizers have invited interested golfers to complete registration before the September 2 tee-off.
