New York-based independent gospel composer and producer SA Godwin centers “Bless Me Too” as the title track of a 24-song gospel album that takes the heart of his 2026 collection.

Bless Me Too is among the most ambitious gospel projects released this year by an independent Nigerian singer, clocking in at 24 tracks and one hour and forty-nine minutes.

SA Godwin doesn’t treat the album like a compilation of random singles. The title track forms the foundation of a body of devotional work that continually relies on prayer-driven material and personal appeals to God throughout the entire period.

The title itself carries with it a certain spiritual humility. “Bless Me Too” is not a request or a bold statement: it is a humble request. It’s the same kind of prayer Jacob prayed when he refused to let God go until he received His blessing. But SA Godwin presents it in a contemporary gospel style, making the emotional truth seem accessible rather than officially religious.

And his productive instincts also demonstrate remarkable discipline. The title track is also simple and direct, with no extraneous decorations to distract the vocal message from front and center. Such honest devotional documentation requires a production that serves the prayer, not decorates it.

Prior to this album, the likes of “I Will Not Give Up”, “In The Silence” and “Open Every Door” had already established a loyal following. And the early momentum in Uganda’s YouTube chart shows that the project is connecting with listeners outside of its previous fan base.
