Nigerian Afrobeats star Kwate continues his 2026 campaign with “Get Wet 4 Daddy,” a solo track after a year that already included the From Me to You EP and a variety of independent releases.

The record leans into flirtation and sexual allure through its straightforward presentation, adopting a fun, adult-oriented style. July’s “Fame & Fortune” follows, taking Kwate away from the ambitious tone of that release towards something more private and lighthearted.

The arrangement remains tight and vocal-centered, pushing the song forward without neglecting its core concept. The short structure allows the chorus and repeated lyrics to maintain the focus of the song.

Kwate comes to the release with greater visibility after “Usain Bolt (Speed)” topped Nigeria’s Shazam list in 2025. This momentum, plus his huge backlog of Afrobeat tracks, means the new track already has an audience to latch onto.
