G Innovation Football Club of Ikeja yesterday intensified their preparation for the final of the Lagos State Mini Football Competition with a 1-1 draw against China FC in an interclub friendly played in Ikeja.
The esteemed G Innovation team used the meeting to put the finishing touches to their preparations for Sunday’s final.
Speaking before the match, the CEO of the club and board member of the Nigeria Minifootball Association, Mr Chigozie Nwagwu, said the players were in good spirits and fully focused on the competition.
Nwagwu expressed confidence in the team’s readiness, adding that the players have worked hard and are looking forward to lifting the trophy at the end of the competition.
