Like money isn’t everything, but ignoring the people single handedly keeping your entire country from collapsing with their wealth and antagonizing them is absolute incompetence. The prince isn’t even subtle about it. The family could have just outright crushed the royal family and moved elsewhere anytime within the last few years if they had been paying attention to the prince’s behavior. He’s already got adultery rumours and he’s not even married yet. The prince is hypocritical talking about how he doesn’t need money considering that the MC’s money keeps him well fed and able to spend money on gifts to a secret lover.
Then there’s the sheer incompetence of the royal family. They failed at balancing the budget once already to be in debt to the MC’s family and made zero effort to correct the prince’s dumbass behavior of ignoring his fiancé for several years. You’re already in dire financial straights and can’t be bothered to do basic lip service?
I’m not too far into this yet, so I’m assuming the prince has a crush on the sister. Do those absolute buffoons think breaking the heart of one of their children and basically pitting the sisters against each other was gonna endear the people keeping them afloat?
Of course the brother is a complete dunderhead frothing at the mouth for a chance at a coup so openly as if he can’t be replaced or demoted. The family already clearly doesn’t like him much but he doesn’t have the political tact to stop antagonizing them before he gains real power. His best case is if he turns out to have been conspiring with the royal family to take down the house even though he can either already do that or wait a few years. Even then, the country is relying the massive donations being made for it’s budget if we take how frugal the prince is trying to be under consideration, so the brother’s grievances are against the family taking measures against an economic collapse and the resulting anarchy affecting the entire region instead of one small fiefdom. That entire country is a ticking time bomb of disaster from what little I’ve seen of it.
I hope they dont take away the fat she wished for.

There was an anime this season with a similar premise, but the villainess was isekai'd and was really bad at being a villainess, and managed to really quickly endear herself to the prince, whom had some sort of sociopathy thing going on where he didn't feel human emotions.

Yknow, i had a small hope they would have kept her plus sized longer, would definitely have been a new trend for a manga to have a Chunkier protagonist. But nah, they wanted her to get skinny and do nice things in a short period of time to appeal to the prince for some dumb reason.
the plot is bad it just too cheesy and cliche. the prince only see her once she sexy. kyle should be freed, or banished. the mc is too soft even though her entire biologial family is on the line. not enough reform or changes that improve her overall family worth. the romance feel so forced. it would be much more intersting if the mc act more harshly like a actual villain but deep down is kind, loving, and smart enough to do reform of her family and her land. and the way kyle fall for the m,c is just straight up disgusting.
