Kwande APC stakeholders support Tinubu, Udende, Ugbor and Silas for 2027

Kwande (Key Reporters) Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwande Local Government Area of ​​Benue State have endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende and Hon. Terseer Ugbor ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Stakeholders also supported the Hon. Tsavtim Silas as the party’s candidate for Kwande Eastern State constituency.

The resolutions were contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a stakeholders meeting held on 4 October 2026 at the residence of Chief Terlumun Akputu in Adikpo, headquarters of Kwande Local Government Area.

The meeting brought together APC ward chairmen, party candidates, stakeholders and other party officials from the 15 council wards that made up Kwande LGA.

The endorsement led by the Zonal Chairman of the APC for Benue North East Senatorial District, Barrister Vincent Uji, the group

passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and decided to mobilize massive support for his re-election in the 2027 presidential elections.

they also reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and leader of the APC in Benue State and North Central, Senator George Akume, pledging to respect his political direction and leadership.

Likewise, Kwande stakeholders have further endorsed Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende and Honorable Terseer Ugbor for another term in the Senate, expressing confidence in his leadership qualities.

Likewise, the interested parties voted confidence in the Hon. Terseer Ugbor, who represents Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and has endorsed his bid for re-election.

For Kwande Eastern State constituency, stakeholders have decided to support the APC candidate, Hon. Tsavtim Silas, in the 2027 elections, however, decided to wait for further directives and directions from Senator George Akume.

Stakeholders expressed optimism that the party will record a decisive victory in the 15 municipal districts of Kwande Local Government Area in the 2027 general elections. They called on party members and supporters to remain united, committed and focused on strengthening the APC ahead of the elections.

The statement was signed by Chief Terlumun Akputu, Vincent Uji, Dr Bem Zoho, among several other stakeholders and 10 party members each in the 15 municipal wards of Kwande Local Government Area.
