Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is looking to carefully balance his team’s workload, placing particular emphasis on managing captain Raphinha’s fitness following his recent recovery from injury.
The German coach expressed his clear concern about the winger’s physical condition as the club faces a demanding stretch of the season.

The concerns stem from the previous international window in September, when Barcelona’s number 11 returned to Spain with a muscle injury sustained while on duty.
After seeing the physical wear and tear of that period, Flick did not hide his dissatisfaction with the forward’s inclusion in the last national team.
“I have spoken with Deco. He is a very important player and after the break in the last international window he returned injured. It is not the best situation.

“But that’s the way things are, we can’t do anything about it. Rapha has the club in his heart, but if the national team calls him up, he wants to be there.
“Everyone wants to help the Brazil team. If we can manage their playing time, I would be happy. It is not ideal to go back and forth to Singapore. But it is out of my reach.”
Brazil will face Japan and Singapore in two friendly matches in Kallang on November 14 and 17.
