Waec GCE Timetable: Candidates awaiting the WAEC January/February WASSCE (Private) timetable, should note that it is out. The WAEC 2nd series timetable, commonly known as the WAEC GCE has been released and published online.

This page contains the official 2023 WAEC West African Examination Council (WAEC) Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) 2023 GCE Time-Table for Private Candidates Second (2nd) Series. All candidates should note that this is the 2nd series WAEC GCE Timetable for the October/December Session.

The WAEC GCE Timetable shows that the examination is billed to commence on the 27th October 2023, and ends on the 20th of December 2023. Candidates can also download the official timetable here.

Using this medium, we’d love to notify candidates who wish to participate in the 2023 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for the October/December – second series, that the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) management has officially released the GCE examination Timetable.

Candidates who are asking “When Is WAEC GCE Starting?” should know that the Examination is scheduled to commence from 27th October – 20th December 2023 in all the WAEC GCE Approved Exam Towns.

Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable.

Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be strictly adhered to. Kindly note that sometimes, the examination paper time will be different from the time shared on the Timetable, due to a shift in time by the GCE board.

Important Note:

• It is very important to note here, the difference in Time on the Question Paper and Timetable: Where the duration indicated on the question paper is different from the duration (time) on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
• Question Papers to be Given Out in Advance of the Dates They Are to be Taken.

  • Paper 3A – The Waec board will give instructions to supervisors two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
  • Paper 3B – For candidates, the GCE WAEC board disclosed that the Question papers will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is scheduled.
• The GCE Waec board will be giving extra Time for blind, deaf and dumb Candidates: Blind, deaf and dumb candidates have been authorized to be allowed one and half times the time allotted to other candidates.
