Victor Osimhen has earned his place in the 2023 Serie A Team of the Year following a remarkable twelve months for Napoli.

The list was put together by the football facts and statistics website, whoscored.com, and was announced through its official handle on Tuesday.

Osimhen, alongside Napoli teammate Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, are the only Partenopei players in this elite lineup.

The Nigeria international was paired up front with Inter Milan striker and captain Lautaro Martinez.

Osimhen played a pivotal role in Napoli’s league triumph for the first time since 1990.

He scored 26 goals, to beat Martinez to the golden boot award, becoming the first African player to do so in Italy.
