Access Holdings appointed Ike innocent as a substantive GMD

Access Holdings PLC has appointed Mr. Innocent Ike as Director/CEO of the Substantive Group.

Access Holdings announced this in the disclosure of the company dated August 27, 2025, signed by the Corporate Secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, and forwarded to the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) on Thursday.

The appointment of Ike as the Head of the Tier-1 Financial Institution will apply on Friday.

Access Holdings pointed to also recognize the extraordinary contribution of Ms. Bolaji Agbede as Chief Executive Officer of the Acting Group.

The notification reads: “Access Holdings announced the appointment of Mr. Innocent Ike as the Director of the Implementing Group Substantive/Head of the Company Executive, Effective August 29, 2025, after receiving regulatory approval.

“Ike will replace Ms. Bolaji Agbeede, who has served as the Director of the Corporate Executive/Head of Executive for the past 18 months and has played an important role in encouraging company performance. Because the provisions of the regulations in the years of experience needed for the Director of the Company Holding Financial, MS. Agbede will return to its substantial role as a substantive company.

“During the term of office of MS. Agbeede, Access Holdco reached an important milestone, including ensuring labor and transition stability without limits after the collapse of the former Chief Executive Officer of the group; Successful implementation of the issue of N351 billion company rights and smooth hosting two annual general meetings of the company.

“His leadership and strategic vision not only maintain the company’s momentum but also strengthen its competitive position in this industry.”

Commenting on the development, Chairperson of the Company, Mr. Aigboje Aigimoukhuede, said: “We are very happy to welcome Mr. Innocent Ike when we move forward. At the same time, we would like to thank the deepest gratitude to Ms. Bolaji Agbeede.

“Its extraordinary contribution over the past 18 months is very valuable, and we appreciate its dedication in navigating the company through challenges and opportunities.

“While regulatory requirements require this change, we are grateful for the strong foundation that has been placed.”
