The basic football in Nigeria is making a big leap forward with the official launch of Acquire Football Academy (acquired FA) in Awo Omamma, in the state of IMO. This football academy, completely recorded at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and authorized by the Imo State Football Association, Delta State Football Association (DFA) and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), is destined to become a turning point for the development of youth football in Nigeria.

*A vision rooted in basic development*

Buy Fa was founded by Nwabi Izuchukwu Daniel, originally from Umuokwe Umuorji in Awo Omamma. His vision is to give young Nigerian players the opportunity to build a professional football career without being forced to leave their communities in search of opportunities.

Unlike many football academies in Nigeria that operate only in large cities, acquiring makes the leading basic training structured in the heart of local communities.

*The journey of the Academy so far*

Acquired Fa has already shown his commitment to cultivate young football talents in Nigeria. The Academy operated for the first time in Nakede, Owerri, for two years, before moving to Agbor, in the Delta State, where he spent another two years to govern players and build a solid reputation.

Now, the Academy has returned home to Awo Omamma, IMO State, to focus on the development of basic football through different age categories: U-10, U-13, U-15 and U-17.

The official launch took place on September 15, 2025, attracting over 600 participants from the whole community. The event characterized an exciting friendly match between the acquisition of FA and Global Stars of Owerri, giving fans a preview of the unique game style of the Academy.

Adding the real honor a day, his real height, Eze’s lawyer Christian Amukamara (Eziawo 1 of Awo Omamma), honored the event. He praised the vision behind the Academy, offered his blessings and promised his support to ensure that the project became a lasting success.
