Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has narrated how a fan who thought her role in a movie was too serious gave her a hard slap as she was about to board a bus.
The actor who narrated the scenario in a recent interview with Abiola Akinrinde on the Talk to B podcast said that the incident happened precisely at the Lawanson bus stop.
He noted that an incident that happened to him when he was starting his career would remain one of the most unforgettable events in his career.
“I have had many unforgettable experiences, whether it is about life or in this industry? I will share a story from when I first started. I had an experience at Lawanson bus stop to be exact, when I was about to board the bus; you know, I had no money at that time so I was about to board the bus, and a man came up to me and the next thing he did was slap me hard,” Ngozi shared.

“I’m not going to lie, I was stunned, and wondered, ‘What did I do to deserve this punishment?’ He started shouting, You evil woman!! For what you have done to Lagbaja, you are a murderer,” he added.
“In a movie?” Biola, the host, asked in surprise.
“Yes,” he confirmed, “because he saw me being mean to someone in a movie. He said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll tell my wife that I’ve taken revenge.’ People around asked him if he was okay and why he slapped a woman like that. He insisted, ‘I was too mean.’
