The Governor of the State Adamawa, Ahmadu Fintiri, has taken firm action against Emir Daware, Alhaji Hassan Ja’afaru, suspending him from his traditional office without time limits.
The suspension, effectively, followed the investigation reportedly found the Emir guilty of several serious violations, including corruption, maladministration, security violations, and other unteented violations.
The suspension instructions were officially submitted in the letter dated April 25, 2025. The letter, signed by the permanent secretary at the Ministry of School Affairs, Adama Mamman, was announced on Sunday. That instructed the suspected Emir to immediately submit all the government properties that are currently owned to the District Secretary of Daware.
