The IMO state journalist, his partner Eze Adiuku, was elected new vice -president of the Union of Journalists of Nigeria, Nuj for Area C (South -est).
His emergency was through an election of Bye at the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting which was held on Tuesday 12 August 2025 in the State of Kano, where the presidents and secretaries of the South -est supported him unanimously against others for the position.
Comrade Adiuku, a pupil of the University of Calabar and the International Institute of Journalism, had served Nuj in various skills.
According to the information of the media unit, the office of the vice -president, zone C, shows that the new vice -president, at the chapel level, had been secretary and financial secretary at various times.
“He had served as secretary, vice -president and president of the forum of the editor of newspapers in the state of IMO. He also worked on Nuj as president, Credential Committee, as well as Exorcice and Assistant Secretary in the Council of IMO.
“Before his emergency as a new Nuj vice president for the South -est, he was serving his second mandate as a zonal secretary of the area,” revealed the media unit.
