Albania is said to have nominated AI Chatbot as the new Minister of Corruption, a decision that has shocked both citizens and analysts in the technology industry and its surroundings.
The historic decision, which was revealed at the Press Conference in Tirana, was characterized as a brave effort to use artificial intelligence to monitor public funds, fight corruption, and maintain transparency.
The government claims the “Ailbania” chatbot-nicknamed-will be assigned to handle corruption reports, examine cross-financial data, and even question officials marked for suspicious activities.
“This is the future,” said a senior government spokesman. “The system that is not mortal to handle corruption. Chatbot will not accept bribes, will not submit to political pressure, and will process complaints 24/7.”

Reaction, however, has been mixed. Supporters argue that technology can provide an impartial oversight that has long been lost in the Albanian struggle against corruption. Critics, on the other hand, warn that relying on the AI system raises questions about accountability, algorithm transparency, and whether human supervision is still needed.
Social media has exploded with memes and jokes, with some users insinuating that the title “Minister of Corruption” seems ironic-because technically it will now be the most powerful anti-corruption supervisor in the country.
If successful, Albania’s brave trial can set a global precedent, making it the first country to submit a ministerial position to artificial intelligence. For now, all eyes are on “Ailbania” and whether it can really outsmart human greed.
