Airtel updates the app with purchasing experience

Airtel Nigeria has updated its My Airtel app with a completely integrated eshop function, transforming the platform into a complete digital shopping destination.

According to a declaration, this update would allow customers to enjoy a complete detail experience directly within the existing subscriber app beyond the purchase of transmission time or data.

“The eshop function offers a wide selection of products ranging from Airttel brand items such as Home Broadband (HBB) devices and all day retail articles such as electronics, appliances, fashion and beauty products”, reads the declaration.

Speaking of the new functionality, the director of marketing of the telecommunications company, Ismail of congress, underlined the attention of the brand on the innovation and centrality of the customer.

“In Airtel, we understand that today’s customers appreciate comfort above all else. This update is part of our wider mission to simplify digital experiences and make daily transactions more easy and faster.

“By integrating Eshop directly into the My Airtel app, we are eliminating unnecessary passages and giving users the freedom to make more within a single platform”, reads the declaration.

The declaration stressed that the update would improve the functionality of the app allowing customers to access the Hop directly from the main screen, eliminating the need for external redirection to web browser or third -party platforms.

“We are going beyond the basic connectivity towards the construction of a digital ecosystem that supports the lifestyle needs of our customers. Whether it is to buy a device, recharge or shop for everyday articles, we are putting more energy and chosen in the hands of our users,” added the note.
