Akabo United FC is a club that is loaded to excel in the sports space in the state of imo and in the country in general.

He revealed that the club is recorded at the Imo State Football Association and participated in the 2023 edition of the IMO State League, also involving the players in various tournaments outside the State in an attempt to exhibit the M.

According to Mr. Arikibe Darlington, the exhibition of these players has allowed some of them to be discovered by clubs outside the state with one of them now invited to the U15 national team.

He urged the support of people who love sport, football enthusiasts and state government to help the team excel since the lack of funds remains the club. greater impediment.

The vice -president and the pillar of the club while answering a question from the press said that the club is an ongoing job and that it is doing everything to its ability to see that the club progresses in the development of young people by exposing them to clubs abroad to attract their trade.

The foreign expert in sport and human development has declared to elaborate a collaboration/ partnership with agencies so me in Finland to help build the club support base, also ensuring that external sports are authorized to thrive in other chosen fields of their effort.

The vice -president also said that he intends to establish a football academy in Akabo to help facilitate the progress of young people in the community and in addition to insisting on the fact that his passion is to see an average youth committed significantly.

Akabo United FC, founded in 2018, is a fertile ground for young and talented players of 15 years and over and trains every day in their training field adopted in the elementary school of the Akabo community under the close supervision of the coach head and vice -president who often comes from abroad to join the club during their training sessions.
