AKIN-Alamu ADC candidates emerged for the election of the North Ibadan

Dexter Akin-Alamu on Saturday a candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) emerged for the selection of August 16 at the northern federal constituency of Ibadan in the state of Oyo.

Akinu appeared without an opponent after the withdrawal of his rival candidate, Ny. Olaide Aderinto, during the main election of the party held at the ADC Secretariat in Mokola, Ibadan.

The main selection was supervised by Mr. Emeka Igwu from the ADC National Headquarters in Abuja, and was observed by officials of the Independent National Election Commission (Inec) led by Mr. Omishile kerinde.

The delegates unanimously supported Akin-Alamu as their choice candidate through voting after Aderinto announced the withdrawal of the competition.

In his acceptance speech, Akin-Alamu praised Aderinto’s sacrifice and convinced party members from the total commitment of ADC victory in the coming election.
