Akwa Ibom’s commissioner refuses to follow Umo Eno to APC, he resigns

Commissioner Akwa Ibom for special duties and Ibom Deep Seaport, companion inin Ememobong, resigned.
He said he had to resign because he could not follow his main one, the human governor Eno, at the Congress All Progressives (APC).
Ememobong, who was commissioner for information before being transferred to the Ministry of Special Duties and the port of Ibom Deep Sea, said: “Today I kept my resignation to the governor in accordance with his directive that his nominated who are not willing to join him in the political journey to the APC should resign.
“Even if I cannot question or criticize the governor’s personal decision, I am unable to join that stay. My decision was born from my belief in politics with the principles and my longtime opposition to that political platform, which is daily validated by numerous Nigerians in many sectors.
“This decision does not affect my personal relationship with the governor, who calls me his brother and has rested great confidence in me putting a saddle with two very important ministries (special information and duties and the port of Ibom Deep Sea).
“I have and I will continue to have enormous respect for the Governor Umbo Eno, even outside Exco.
“Speaking of my story in the political and public service, I look back with great satisfaction for the work I have done and leave the final judgment to history and posterity. Given another opportunity, I will do more”.
