Allegations of criminals killing Polytechnic students in Bauchi

The criminals who were suspected on Friday killed an Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic student in the state of Bauchi, Samuel Mbami.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Ahmed Deputy, confirmed the incident to journalists on Friday at Bauchi.

He said the incident occurred around 3:00 in the morning when three armed disruptives invaded the cottage outside the campus that accommodated two students from state -owned institutions.

Deputy said Mbami, a national diploma (ND), a mass communication student, was stabbed in the abdomen in violence attacks.

The spokesman said: “The student surrendered to his wounds after losing a large amount of blood.

“However, the motive behind the attack is still unclear.”

The President of the Student Union (SUG) at the institution, Usman Aliyu, condemned the attack.

He described the incident as “tragic and absurd.”

Aliyu demanded a full investigation of the incident and urged security institutions to increase patrols and supervision around the campus to prevent future events.
