It was a joyous moment yesterday when veteran and one of the best football administrators in Nigeria, Dominic Iorfa, the General Manager of Barau FC, celebrated the victory against Plateau United yesterday by breaking his fast with his boss and Vice President of the Senate, Jubril Barau.
The Vice President of the Senate and owner of the club, Senator Jubril Barau, was overwhelmed with joy after the club managed to beat Plateau United 2-1 at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
DSP Barau encouraged the club’s core fans, who were also present, to support the GM who transformed the club from a losing position of 20th in the table to a comfortable 10th position.
