Angry Ghana fans expressed their anger after the national team was beaten 1-0 by Angola in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Thursday.
Fans stormed the Baba Yara Stadium pitch in Kumasi as the Black Stars kicked off their qualifying campaign with a disappointing home defeat in Group F.
Felicio Milson emerged as the hero for Angola, as he scored a dramatic 93rd-minute goal to seal victory for the visitors.
Milson fired the ball into an empty net after Abdul Mumin failed to clear a low cross from the right properly.

Ghana’s defeat was their first at the Kumasi stadium in 24 years.
The last time they did so was in the 2000 AFCON quarter-final against South Africa which they won 1-0.
Following the disappointing defeat to Angola, angry fans ran onto the pitch throwing bottles and other objects, even though the players had already left the pitch.
Otto Addo’s Black Stars will be hoping to bounce back when they play Niger on Monday, September 9.
