The circle of support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration spread abroad, resonating among the Nigerians in the diaspora.
The UK chapter of the All Progressives Congress sentence, APC, added his voice to support the president for a second term. The group also revealed the plans to keep a mega event to celebrate the president.
Coming to the background of the second anniversary of his first term, the approval took place during a group meeting in London.
This was contained in a reminder of 25 May and signed by the Capo Momoh Y. Obaro and Tunde Doherty, secretary and president of the group, respectively, made available to our correspondent.
Aimed at the president through the national president of the party, dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the letter of approval was delivered to the APC, the secretary, the senator Ajibola Basiru, during his recent visit to the United Kingdom, the group also used the opportunity to affirm the support for the ambition of the secretary’s governor.
Caption “vote of trust and approval for a second term in office”, the letter reads in part:
“We write on behalf of the UK chapter of all the progressives of the congress to express our resolute vote of trust in your visionary leadership and to officially support your excellence for a second term as a resident in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“At the General Assembly of the APC UK chapter, we all agreed on this decision after discusing the results of your administration and the optimism that inspires in the Nigerians both at home and abroad. This decision will be officially ratified by all the diasporan in the United Kingdom during a great event at the end of this year. We would have thrilled you to have you and the party tank that will join us in search of us.
“Your bold reforms, the unwavering commitment for national development and the supported diplomatic commitment have significantly repositioned Nigeria on the global phase. Under your guide, Nigeria has experienced steps from infrastructure, economic stabilization, safety reforms and strengthening of young people.
“The chapter APC UK, which represents thousands of patriotic Nigerians in the diaspora, is firmly behind your renewed agenda of hope and is confident in your ability to conduct Nigeria in a higher and more prosperous future.”
Obaro, a data scientist, experienced politicians and former governor of the state of Kogi, while he presented the letter, he also reiterated a vote of trust in the APC National Exco.
