APC Label Atiku ‘Nigeria Unmatched Unmatched Nigeria’

Felix Morka, Secretary of the National Publicity of the Congress of All Progressive (APC), has swiped former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, describing it as “Nigerian political wanderer that is unmatched” after the recent resignation of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Atiku, a member of the founder of the PDP and his presidential candidate in the 2019 and 2023 elections, officially announced his departure from the party in a letter dated July 14, 2025. The letter was addressed to the Chairperson of the PDP Ward in Jada, the Jada Regional Government Area in Adamawa State.

Reacting to development in a statement posted on his official account X (previously Twitter) on Wednesday, Morka criticized Atiku’s decision, calling another example of the pattern of political division of the former vice president who repeated.

“Once again, Atiku uses a rotating door out of the PDP for the third time … All in his search are desperate but difficult to understand for the president’s gold fur,” Morka wrote.

He accused the 78 -year -old politician of prioritizing personal ambitions of party loyalty and institutional development.

“Atiku is only encouraged by his selfish and obsessive president’s ambitions … never willing to do work to build his party or complete his internal crisis,” said the APC spokesman. “But claiming the right of the rights to the presidential ticket of his party by putting aside all the others.”

Furthermore Morka described Atiku as “the weakest relationship in Nigerian partisan democracy,” on the grounds that the change of his party which often reflects the lack of ideological commitment and damages democratic consolidation.

Concluding his statement with a sharp reprimand, Morka said: “Congratulations, Nigerian political wanderer is unmatched.”

The latest Atiku departure from PDP came in the midst of sustainable efforts to form an integrated opposition coalition before 2027 general elections. Along with political figures such as Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Rotimi Amaechi, and others, Atiku is now in line with the new coalition that has adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as his political platform.
