APC rejected PDP claims in the 2027 election as an empty illusion

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos has described the pride of the Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 general election as an empty illusion.

APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Mr. Seye Oladejo, made this statement in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.

Oladejo reacts to the new claims by PDP that only former ruling parties have a “structure and strength” to defeat APC in the 2027 general election.

He stressed that “political reverie” like that usually must be dismissed as a routine rhetoric from the opposition party that is desperate to remain relevant.

Oladejo said: “PDP claims have the structure and strength to defeat APC is ridiculous and regardless of the current political reality in Nigeria.

“What structure is meant by PDP-formation that are equally interrupted, filled with crisis and fragmented which failed to present the unity front since 2015?

“Or the same strength that causes serial losses in the selection, mass defense of key figures, and internal explosions throughout the state?

“It is clear that the PDP has not recovered from the political rejection he suffered over the past decade – a rejection of rooted in the legacy of corruption, impunity, and national opportunities that are rushed.

“Nigerians do not forget 16 years of PDP mockery that makes our nation vulnerable economically, backward infrastructure, and weaken institutionally.”

The spokesman argues that APC remains the most formidable political movement in Nigeria today, based on progressive ideals, national unity, and leadership driven by results.

He described the 2023 election as a re -affirmation of the national distribution of APC and deep grassroots connection.

“From Lagos to Borno, Rivers to Kano, APC and government policies centered on people continue to win the trust and support of the Nigerians at all levels.

“The same Nigerians who gave us their mandate were then witnesses for a significant step made by administration led by the Tinubu Bola President-specifically in economic reform, infrastructure renewal, digital transformation, and national security.

“While PDP continues to operate in the political nostalgic echo room, APC is busy rebuilding Nigeria and expanding its reach.

“If PDP believes the statement of the press and internal thinking can replace credible leadership, national cohesion and visionary planning, then he has not learned anything from the insulting election of his past,” he added.

Oladejo urged PDP to focus on completing its internal crisis rather than issuing a “hollow statement” around 2027.

“Nigeria deserves credible opposition, not a party that is still pursuing the shadow of missing glory.

“In 2027, APC will be back to the Nigerian records of achievement, unity of goals and future promises – not an empty face and a recycling face from yesterday’s failure,” he concluded.
