APC to fall in Lagos: PDP aspirant makes bold prediction for 2027

A governorship hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Laja Adeoye, has predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will lose control of the state in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during an interview in Lagos, Adeoye said many residents were increasingly dissatisfied with governance under the APC and were ready for political change.

The real estate entrepreneur and CEO of Fendini Homes says key challenges such as infrastructure gaps, traffic congestion, rising cost of living and environmental issues remain unresolved.

According to him, these concerns have contributed to growing frustration among Lagosians, who he says are looking for a new direction for the state.

Adeoye argued that the PDP offers a credible alternative that can deliver better governance and development.

He said his ambition to contest the governorship is driven by the desire to reposition Lagos and address long-standing socioeconomic challenges.

The aspirant also assured that his campaign will present detailed solutions regarding housing, infrastructure, civil service reforms and security.

While acknowledging disagreements within the PDP, Adeoye said ongoing reconciliation efforts will strengthen the party ahead of the elections.

He expressed optimism about securing the party ticket and receiving broad support from voters across the state.

Adeoye also said recent accolades and growing acceptance among residents signal strong support for his candidacy.

He added that the PDP is determined to build a united front capable of challenging the APC’s dominance in Lagos politics.
