API RAZES Six Shops in Kano Market

Fires in the early days of Friday destroyed six shops in the Kurmi Market (Yan ‘butcher) in the state canoeing.

Spokesman for the State Fire Department, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, revealed this in a statement on Friday in Kano.

He said: “We received a hard time from the Jakara Police Division at around 1:35 that there was a fire outbreak at the Kurmi Jakara Market.

“After receiving information, we quickly sent a fire vehicle to the scene to control the situation.

“At least six shops are completely destroyed by fire.

“However, no life was missing, and the cause of the fire was being investigated.”
